In the modern era,modern Chinese have undergone a great change in vocabulary.Many new coinage morphemes showed a strong productivity in the process of vocabulary formation of modern Chinese,But ultimately some of them was not able to play a role inmodern Chinese at present. This paper focus on these obsolete words,and try to find thecharacteristic of these words and the reason of their disappearance. In conclusion,thesenew coinage morphemes replaced transliterated words and paraphrase sentence,so as to change the modern Chinese with theoretical motivation from classical Chinese
